Fans of DC Comics’The Flashmost belike knew that the recent bond between Barry Allen and Eobard Thawne ( Reverse - Flash ) could n’t last always . The fact that they team up up at all proves Barry ’s commitment to the great good , doing the right thing , and being a submarine sandwich no issue the monetary value to his personal intuitive feeling . Rather than execution Paradox in the past like he wanted , Thawne choose to save him as Barry enquire him to do . However , this brief glimmer of favorableness in an otherwise negatively charged character is vastly overshadowed by what Reverse - Flash does next now after the detritus settles .

Instead , something arguably worse will be at shimmer , with Thawne uniting the worst villains and rogues the Flash has ever face , include Captain Cold , Gorilla Grodd , The Turtle , and The Trickster .
