With almost 1000 new items , it may be unmanageable for role player to keep track of what things are new to the game and what kinds of object they can make using them . One of the New items that player may not experience about yet are the gemcorns .

Gemcorns acorns made out of gems that can be planted in the land to grow a muffin tree . These tree can , in round , be harvested in Holy Order to acquire more gems and gemcorns . Players may not know right off the bat how to acquire the gemcorns though or even how to plant them . This guide is here to help oneself player make sense of the new lineament .
Terraria: How to Craft Gemcorns
Crafting gemcorns is really a relatively simple process . actor will just need to explore underground until they come across any gem character that they would wish to grow . Once they have one , thespian will also need to tailor down a Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree on the surface to clear an acorn and coalesce the two together . This will give players a make novel gemcorn to grow into a tree . thespian can craft a specific gemcorn from any of the gems , so there are seven different discrepancy base on each of the different gem type .

role player will need to ensure that their gemstone sapling is in complete shadow for it to begin growing at the same charge per unit as a normal tree diagram . If the right condition are fulfill , then it can take anywhere from 30 second to 5 minute of arc for a gem tree to grow to its full height . Once fully uprise players can take an ax to the tree diagram to begin harvest their stone . Typically each tree will give players anywhere from 0 - 5 jewel and gemcorns . This means that players can cursorily sour around and replant their gem and reap the benefit . If this is done several times , role player will eventually be swimming in hundreds of gem .
