Based on the artwork , the fauna appear to be made of some variety of rock , but can also melt and morph , as seen when they wrap themselves around Superman . This would also excuse how they can seemingly load and take on dissimilar shape . The dispute is that here , it seems the mineworker have no control over their bodies once the parasite conduct over . The inquiry now arises - what happen if one of these parasites get ahold ofSuperman ?
