BecauseStranger Things ' third seasonredeems Billy Hargrove , it ’s hard to say whether or not he ’s the TV show ’s true ruffian anymore . Especially , when the part Troy Walsh has proven to be a menace in both the TV series , ANDthe new graphic novelStranger Things : The Bully .
One of the bang-up property of the critically clap Netflix series is its role development . Besides from the hit series ' beloved grapheme Jane Hopper , a.k.a . Eleven , who has grown tremendouslysince the first season , Billy Hargrove ’s character growing is as organic as the rest of the characters on the show . So much so that by the end of the third time of year , fans are wonder as to why the character isno longer alive . On top of becoming one of the show ’s outstanding heroes after he sacrifices himself to save El from the Mind Flayer , there are plenty of bit when fans are made to palpate bad for him . Especially , because he finally becomes helplessly own by the Mind Flayer in the third season . But unlike Billy , Troy Walsh - the yobbo from the first season of the show - never redeems himself . In fact he ’s not only a bully in the TV series , he ’s also one in the comics .

In Greg Pak , Valeria Favoccia , Dan Jackson , Nate Piekos , and Ron Chan ’s graphic novelStranger Things : The Bully , Troy Walsh has a chance to become a hero … but he choose to run forth in fright instead . One night , Troy Walsh grab a rake and head into the Ellen Price Wood to look for , " the nerds , " a.k.a . Will Byers , Lucas Sinclair , Mike Wheeler , Eleven , and Dustin Henderson and put an end to their trickery . Like the prison term Eleven makes him wet his pants , or that other meter she breaks his arm in the first season . After his friend James Dante join him on his mission , they both go into the woods and shortly enough they are being attacked by a mates of Demo - Dogs . As they both run away in fear , eventually hiding under a log . But it does n’t take long for a Demo - Dog to discover them and they are back on the run again . As they run along train running , James trips and come . As he lay on the dry land , scream for Troy to aid him - Troy takes one look at him as well as the Demo - Dogs shutdown in and resolve to run and veil behind a nearby tree . Luckily for James ' interest , there are other heroes nearby .
Rather than having James for dinner , the Demo - Dogs run by James and head for the nearby junkyard - the same junkyard where Steve Harrington is fight off a host of Demo - Dogs with a wooden bat . After James get up , he tells Troy that they should help oneself Steve , Lucas , Dustin , and Max . But once again , Troy allows his fear to sprain him into a yobbo and recite him , " It ’s the grind . " basically order who care if they are eaten by a horde of Demo - Dogs . But presently enough , the monsters leave everyone in the timberland as they are call back to Hawkins Lab by the Mind Flayer .
Even though Troy has a chance to redeem himself , he chooses to feed aside and allow his friend to be deplete alive by the Demo - Dogs . Considering the fact there are so manyreasons to screw Billy , it ’s cleared now thatStranger Thingsconfirms Troy is the show ’s true hooligan .
