Thaddeus Sivana(who failed Shazam ’s “ gross of nub ” test as a tike ) achieved his living - long and despiteful goal of returning to the Rock of Eternity . He steal the Eye of sinfulness and becomes the vessel of the Seven Deadly Sins — Lust , Gluttony , Greed , Sloth , Envy , Pride , and Wrath . Outside of Sivana ( when he is vulnerable ) , these ogre evidence themselves as monsters , harnessing the power of the sins they represent .

Arguably the most intimating of these sins is Wrath . At one decimal point in the film , we see Wrath bite the header off of Sivana Industries ’ display board member and throw his body out of a windowpane . Shazam!alludes to how Wrath and the others were let go by Teth - Adam AKA Black Adam thousands of eld in the beginning . He does this to retaliate the murder of his category . The sins not only do this but defeat 1000000 of people and everyone on the Council of Wizards ( except for Shazam ) . as luck would have it , Shazam defeats the demon on his own and jug them within statue in the Rock of Eternity . At the end ofShazam ! , Billy ( as his superhero alter - ego , Shazam ) stick with in the old wizard ’s footsteps by take away the Eye of hell from Sivana and gaol the Seven Deadly Sins . This may be explored in theDC Extended Universe ’s upcomingBlack Adamsolo film .
The concept art forShazam!‘sWrath is just as terrific ( if not more so ) than the translation we see in the final film . Marantz ’s infernal colour scheme evokes a feeling appropriate for one of the dealership ’s old and most mythic antagonists .
