Although Black Bolt does n’t have any linesinDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness , the persona is responsible for for one of the film ’s most shocking mo . When Wanda and the Illuminati first face off against each other , Black Bolt attempts to habituate his ballistic scream but , with Wanda having sealed his mouth shut , the screeching ends up imploding his skull . Mount is distinctly thankful for the chance to play the theatrical role but , as with the other bushed members of the Illuminati , it ’s unclear whether he will be returning for any future MCU installments .
