I was n’t sure because it could have been , yes , he would ’ve preserve my news report , how Rey would have groom me or aid me in some way . But then at the same time , am I really that authoritative ? Am I someone swelled or am I really just a son , a prosperous male child in a Galax urceolata far , far away ? Considering everythingThe Rise of Skywalkerhad on its plate , it makes good sense why Broom Boy was n’t pass an expanded role . The film needed to wrap up the stories of type like Rey and Kylo Ren , while also reintegrating Emperor Palpatine into the crimp . TheLast Jediepilogue was n’t so much about establishing Broom Boy as a key figure in the dealership ’s future tense ; it was more about showing how normal citizen in the wandflower were inspired by Luke ’s action mechanism and ready to oppose back against the First Order ’s tyranny . In that respect , Broom Boy link to Lando Calrissian ’s makeshift navy assembled for the Battle of Exegol , so there was some proceeds inThe Rise of Skywalker .
