ThroughoutDays Gone , Deacon will campaign his elbow room through several Freaker hordes and Rippers to find a way back to his wife . In that sentence Deacon can unlockdifferent endingsdepending onthe people in his lifeand how he has interacted with them . Each unlike conclusion will play after the ending credit , but only the secret ending gives an approximation for a potential continuation .
How to Unlock the Secret Ending
After the finish terminal conflict and the credit roll , Deacon will be placed back in the human beings to finish up missionary station that were n’t part of the independent storyline . As Deacon works on side missions he ’ll eventually pick up from a NERO scientist by the name of O’Brian . O’Brian will call on Deacon to gather him at the Old Pioneer Cemetery . This will start the pursuit , " There ’s Nothing you’re able to Do . "
Arriving at the Old Pioneer Cemetery , Deacon meets with O’Brian and another NERO colleague who are wearing hazmat suits . O’Brian will take off the hood of his hazmat cause to reveal that he has been infect . He posit that the virus is evolving at an exponential rate and it is clear that whatever strain he ’s infect with does n’t cause him to become violent or savage .
O’Brian also tells Deacon that the people above him at NERO knew that the infection rate would quick become higher . He differentiate Deacon there is nothing left that he or anyone else can do to stop it from spreading before climbing into his helicopter and flying off with his confrere . As the NERO chopper leafage , Deacon is left with the sickening realization that he has been help someone who will continue to make this plague bad .
This twist bring participant in a mental predicament . Will everyone finally become septic ? Will the contagion be something someone can live through and still contain their humanity ? Will Deacon ever be able to kibosh them ? As Deacon is left with no ability to quest for O’Brian further many have suggested that this moderate to the premise of a subsequence where Deacon will track down those from NERO to obtain a cure or stop them . News on whether or not there will be a sequel has not been confirmed as of yet though .
