This week’sHawkeye : Freefall#6 officially confirm Hawkeye is on the road to becoming a supervillain . Clint ’s feud with the Hood intensify when Bullseye bust in to his flat and kills one of his friends , cause Clint to adjudicate it ’s meter to get some payback . He suits up as Bullseye , confident nobody will cypher out it ’s an Avenger wearing the suit of the superior assassin , and he successfully takes Bullseye down - with utmost preconception .
Hawkeye then proceeds to go to lengths nobody else would go to . He commits a banking company looting , stealing the Hood ’s wealthiness from the Alethea Bank - and he does it in costume , letting the whole world recognise who ’s doing it . " Do n’t do anything stupefied and I will do my best to do the same , " Clint evidence the citizenry at the bank , and no doubt most of the Avengers would propose he was doing something stupefied the moment he walk through the door and announced he was soak the bank . But Clint puts the three million to good use , paying it to Count Nefaria so he can habituate a daimon to take the Hood ’s magical cloak and boil down him to nothing more than an average crook . It ’s a staggeringly effective squelcher , because the Hood has lost both his money and his powers .
In a shivery closure scene , the Hood ’s thugs debate vote down the hurt Avenger before they leave . But Montana , one of the Outlaws , tells his allies to hold up back . " He ’s one of us now , " he observes . " Even if he does n’t know it yet . " He recognise a truth Hawkeye has not ; that decisions have consequences . Hawkeye ’s repute is in tatters , his friends think he ’s go bad rogue , and he ’s form alliances with the Kingpin and Count Nefaria . There is no way the Avengers ' Sagittarius can be consider a straightforward superhero any more .
