One of the most magical thing about theHarry Potteruniverse is , of class , the school of Hogwarts . Most of the significant action pass off within its wall , and the professor are , of course , some of the most bewitching character . While the picture show do n’t always give them as much depth as the Holy Scripture do , most of them still bring off to emerge as full individuals , with their own personalities and quirks .

It ’s also fascinating to think about them in terms of their romantic compatibility in terms of the Formosan zodiac , which opens upmany new view of their charactersthat are suitable of examination .

Rat - Slughorn

Slughorn is a late add-on to the franchise , but he do to become one of the most interesting characters . Whilehe ’s devious and ambitious , there seems to be a unfeigned warmth and compassionateness to him , buried deep indoors . He would make a respectable match for those born under the sign of the rat , who also incline to be a bit more ambitious than is probably effective for them ( or for those who interact with them ) .

Ox - McGonagall

From the moment that she appears , McGonagall makes it clear that she is n’t belong to tolerate nonsense from anyone , even if they are as noted as Harry Potter himself . However , she has a good heart , and she clearly care very profoundly about her students . She and the wild ox would make a great brace , in large part because the two of them are both very strong personalities that are natural - born leaders who are always up for a challenge .

Tiger - Moody

Moody is one of those characterswhose name say a quite a little about his disposition . Though he has a notoriously quicksilver personality , there ’s no deny that he ’s also a very hefty wizard and a natural leader ( even if he does at one distributor point allow himself to be catch ) . He ’d thus make a unspoiled match for the likewise strong personality of the tiger , though the two would be apprize not to let their big - than - liveliness personas get off with them .

Rabbit - Sprout

Professor Sprout is one of those faculty that just seems to hover in the background . However , what   the viewer learn about her suggests that she is a very warm - hearted sort of person , the kind of soul that was acquit to be a supporter . The rabbit is a similarly balmy - mannered sort of sign , to the extent that some err them for being unaccented .

Together , however , Sprout and a rabbit would be a lovely kind of twosome , capable of great sexual love toward one another .

Dragon - Dumbledore

It would take a truly powerful personality to be the Headmaster of Hogwarts and somehow manage to brawl the staff while also fend off the tampering of the Ministry of Magic , and yet that is exactly what Dumbledore manages to do . He is thus very compatible with those bear under the sign of the dragon , who are similarly powerful personalities skilled at ensuring that everyone is able-bodied to do their part .

Snake - Snape

It should n’t surprise anyone that Snape would be the eccentric that would be compatible with the snake in the grass . After all , he was a Slytherin , and he decidedly seemed to identify most with that house and its principles . Like the snake , Snape is infamous for being bothhighly levelheaded and yet also jealous , and it is in fact his jealousy that makes him despise Harry so much . The snake and Snape , however , will have to make trusted that their reciprocal distrust does n’t poison their relationship .

Horse - Trelawney

Even in a place like Hogwarts , a castle screw for its odd resident , Trelawney is something else . She really does seem to go out of her way to come out as foreign and otherworldly as potential . Despite her prank , however , she has the real ability to predict the future tense ( to a degree ) . feed that the gymnastic horse is also known for being a bit on the freewheeling side , this house would make a good compeer for Trelawney .

Goat - Lupin

Lupin has one of the most tragic storiesin the whole story ( aside from Harry ’s , of course ) . Despite this , he is still one of the most loving and compassionate members of the faculty , acting as another father figure for Harry .

Goats are know for being creative and for need emotional support , so it would seem that they would make a good match for Lupin who , despite his own bad luck , always seems unforced to offer dear and compassion to others .

Monkey - Lockhart

Though he ’s one of the most famous wizards in the world , it ’s ultimately reveal thatLockhart is nothing more than a dupery , his repute built on lies , half - truths , and fabrications . In this respect , he has a lot in common with those born under the planetary house of the monkey , who also have a tendency to look out for themselves rather than for others . At least if they vex together , neither of them would be under any phantasy about what the other brought to the table .

Rooster - Flitwick

Flitwick is another of those faculty who always seems to be around but does n’t have a lot of characterization . Nevertheless , what the books reveal is that he was in his youth a very persevering student , and this has clear carried on into his maturity . give that he teaches charms , it would make gumption that he is a second demand in what he anticipate of students ( since charm have to be articulate correctly for work ) . He ’s thus quite compatible with the cock , who is similarly perfectionist .
