Argus Filch
Argus Filch ’s role in the Harry Potter movies lessens with every movie , with the character becoming more comedic by the end of the dealership . However , when the audience first sees him inThe Sorcerer ’s Stone , he ’s chilling to look at .
Filch has a creepy atmosphere about him . The way he speaks slow but with malice is enough to scare you off him and , while the movies did a good task at portray this , it ’s crank up tenfold in the books . Filch is a vile caretaker and it make us think : why did Albus Dumbledore allow him to stay at the school for so many years ?
Wormtail
Right , we ’re getting onto the really spine - prickle characters now . And Wormtail certainly return under that category .
He is literally the human personification of aratwith his pointy teeth , patchy hair , and frightful darting , watery eyes . Timothy Spall absolutely nailed the role and our only ill is that Wormtail ’s death was n’t shown in the movies . He ’s strangled by his own silvery hand and lease ’s look it , that ’s a horrifying elbow room to go . Which is fitting , for such a horrible character .
Dementors
The best horror movies are ones where you ca n’t see the baddie ’s evil fount . Sometimes it ’s honest just to let your own imagination do the thought process . And Warner Bros certainly got the Dementors spot on , with audiences never seeing under their scabby , dark cowling .
Except for one brief mo in thePrisoner of Azkabanwhere you’re able to see their rotting lip as they look to take in the soul out of Harry . It ’s a relief that the audience never got to see the Dementor ’s kiss because , if they had , children in the movie theatre would by all odds have need some caution .
Fenrir Greyback
Fenrir Greyback is a tardy entry into the Harry Potter series , making a short cameo inThe Half - Blood Princebefore repay forDeathly Hallows : Part 1andDeathly Hallows : Part 2 .
He ’s strengthen down in the moving picture but , in the books , he ’s chilling to the bone . A character who loves prick children , break their lives forever and the man responsible forRemus Lupin ’s hard way of living . Greyback does have one memorable conniption in the films - when he bites Lavender Brown at the Battle of Hogwarts . Aragog

It ’s likely that , even if you are a fan of the eight - legged wight , you definitely would n’t want to encounter one the size of Aragog . He ’s mammoth , dwarf everything - including Hagrid . Harry and Ron are only able to turn tail him and his family thanks to Arthur Weasley ’s honest-to-god Ford Anglia , which comes to their rescue in theForbidden Forest .
Voldemort
Who else was going to top the inclination ? Lord Voldemort is the creepiest character in the whole of Harry Potter with everything - from his deathly pallid pelt to his lack of nozzle to his high - monger phonation - make him one of the most iconic picture villains of all clock time .
