In addition to being one of the good horror anthology ever , George Romero’sCreepshowfeatured several actors before they heighten to new heights . repulsion history is full of anthology motion-picture show , and to be outspoken , most of them really are n’t that good overall . Due to their very nature , anthology movies are strike and miss , as a film might contain one terrific tarradiddle , and two or three clunkers alongside it . The best thing about the writing style though is that if a story sucks , it ’s usually not around for much longer .
Creepshow , directed by zombie master Romero and write by iconic horror generator Stephen King , is one of the rarified anthologies where nothing really falls flat , as all five of its story are at worst entertaining , and at best great . The wraparound piece is also fun , and boast a pleasing ending , which is more than many anthology can say . Creepshowremains just as satisfying today as it was intimately 40 years ago , and it ’s bully that the movie ’s bequest is now living on through aShudderTV serial .
