A noteworthy component of the book is that Darkseid never speak . That , couple with the repeating of the phrase , " Darkseid is " make up it percipient that this version of Darkseid is a metaphor for Scott ’s trauma . While Scott may have killed Darkseid and come to price with his trauma , he ’ll still contain it with him for the rest of his living .
One of the things that make the Mister Miracle serial so effective is how personal it feels , and there is a very ripe reason for that . The serial was improbably personal for writerTom King .
