Oracle and Spy Smasher face off in a turn of pugilism , wherewith the help of her allies at the death , Barbara would be triumphant .
This relationship changed during the New 52 , where Katarina would be replaced by Munira Khairuddin , who go by the codename , Obscura . Instead of being college competition , Munira “ Muni ” Khairuddin and Barbara are best friends and college roommates . The competence nature of their human relationship was retain , but alternatively of a contention being at the foundation , it was a friendly relationship rear with honorable intentions . At 18 years old though , Munira Khairuddin faked her decease to join the Spy Smasher unit , a counter - terrorism unit . Obscura has yet to make an appearance inBatgirlsince the showtime of Rebirth .
